Terms and Conditions
By hiring a garment or using any service from NP Collection, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
This includes our policies on bookings, payments, cancellations, garment care, refunds, and returns. By booking/proceeding with your order, you confirm you’ve read and understood these terms, and agree to follow them in full.
Try-On Appointments:
Try-on appointments must be made through our booking system. A valid credit/debit card is required, but no fees will be charged unless:
Your appointment is on a weekend or public holiday → $10 fee
No show or cancellations with less than 6 hours notice → $10 fee
A garment is damaged/soiled → $10+ fee
Please arrive on time for your appointment. You have 30 minutes from your scheduled time to try on garments. If you arrive early, please understand we may not be ready due to back-to-back bookings. If you can no longer make your appointment, cancel as soon as possible via your confirmation email or contact us directly.
Please take extra care when trying on garments and please notify us if a garment has been damaged in any way. Excessive makeup, fake tan, perfume, or any lotions that leave a residue is not permitted. We have makeup wipes if needed! If a garment is soiled at your try you will be charged a cleaning fee of $10 per garment (depending on the severity). If a garment is damaged you are liable for the fees to fix it or the replacement if it is damaged beyond repair. Please inform us of this as we would rather that than find it later.
When booking your try on appointment through our booking system, please state any specific items you would like to try and your desired hire date - This will help us to make sure the garments are available for your appointment. Please note: we can not always guarantee your garment will be there due to try ons booked prior or postal delays.. etc. Once your appointment is booked, our address and further details will be in your confirmation email.
If you wish to bring an additional person to your try-on, you must request permission before your appointment. Only one extra person is permitted upon request.
For hygiene purposes please remove your shoes before entering the room.
EFTPOS:
Please note: 1.4% surcharge applies to EFTPOS payments. You may pay via bank transfer to avoid this.
Securing a Garment:
To secure a garment, a $20 refundable bond must be paid (separate from the hire fee) . The bond secures your item temporary. The bond must be paid via our booking system by selecting a ‘Pick-Up’ appointment if not done otherwise done at your try-on appointment. You may select a preferred pick-up day up to 2 days before your hire date, provided the total hire period does not exceed 4 days.
The bond will be refunded after your garment is assessed and cleaned (see ‘Cleaning’ section below).
Full Payment Deadline:
Once your bond is paid, the full hire fee must be paid within 72 hours or prior to pick-up, whichever comes first. Failure to pay in this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the bond and the garment being made available to other clients.

Hire fees can be paid via our website, bank transfer, or in person via EFTPOS.
Cleaning:
Please be extra cautious when applying tanning products, makeup, and perfume! Please be careful of accidents that may occur and treat the garment as if it’s your own. All garments are thoroughly checked before cleaning; however, please notify us if you notice the garment containing any stains or damages of any sort (please provide photos if possible). *Please do not attempt to remove stains, fix damages, alter, or wash the garment in any way.
A basic cleaning fee is included in all hire prices. In a case where a garment has been severely stained or damaged, we will use the bond to compensate for repairs and/or extra dry cleaning. Examples of damages include but are not limited to; tears, holes, permanent stretching, permanent stains, or other factors that cannot be easily fixed and would prevent the garment from being hired. It will be decided by NP Collection whether a garment is regarded as damaged and we will inform you of this.
If our dry cleaner can not amend the stain/s or damages this will result in additional costs (higher than the bond); You will be liable for this excess, and if so, we will inform you of this so this can be reimbursed to us. If the garment is damaged beyond repair or not fixable we will provide evidence with a letter from our dry cleaner. The full RRP of the garment must be paid to NP Collection for the replacement. Payment plans may be requested.
Faulty Item Policy:
All garments are thoroughly inspected and quality-checked prior to each hire, and we do not hire out items with known damage. However, in rare cases, minor flaws may be missed.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to inspect the garment upon receipt and notify NP Collection of any damages or significant faults prior to wearing the item. In the event of a major fault that affects the wearability of the garment, you must notify us within 3 hours of receiving it.
Failure to report issues before wearing the garment will result in the assumption that the damage occurred during your hire period, and you may be held responsible. If the cost to repair or replace the garment exceeds the bond, the hirer will be notified and required to pay the difference.
Please note: small marks, minor fabric wear, or loose threads are considered reasonable wear and tear and are not classified as faults. Refunds or credits may be offered at NP Collection’s discretion and only once the garment has been returned and assessed.
Cancellations:
No refunds can be provided once you have picked up your garment or if we have posted your garment (this includes any reasons e.g. change of mind or sizing errors). The bond is also kept but can be used as credit for your next hire.
Please be aware that sizing can vary between brands and styles. We do our best to provide accurate descriptions, but the fit is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend trying on garments where possible or checking measurements before booking.
The refundable bond and hire fee can be transferred to another garment with equal or lesser value for the same hire date. If the garment is of greater value, the difference must be paid. If the garment is of lesser value, the difference will not be refunded.
Returning your Garment:
Please return the garment unwashed in the sealed bag(s) provided. If our bag is not returned or is in very poor condition, a $5 fee will be deducted from your bond. Garments can be returned at any time before the return deadline via our drop box (located opposite the front door).
Once the garment is cleaned and assessed, your bond will be refunded if returned on time and in good condition.
If the bond was paid through the pick-up booking system, refunds may take 7–10 business days to appear.
If the bond was paid via bank transfer, EFTPOS or cash, we will require your bank details to process the refund manually (allow 2 business days).
If you haven’t received your refund after this period, please contact us.
Garments that are hired for Friday-Sunday must be returned before MONDAY 6 PM. If your hire date falls on a weekday the garment must be return by 6 PM on the following business day. Starting from the pickup date, the hire period may not exceed 4 days. If a longer hire period is needed, we are happy to accommodate - please contact us!
Late Returns:
Garments that are not returned by the return date will result in a $20 late fee (which is deducted from the bond). If the garment is not returned after 24 hours of the return day, an additional $20 each 24 hours will incur until the garment is returned. Once we have informed you of this, the extra fees can be charged through your card saved on your file (from the booking system).
If a garment is not returned within 2 weeks of the return date, we reserve the right to report the garment as lost and escalate the situation as legally required.
Postal Hires:
Express postage costs $25 (return satchel is provided). The garment will be posted by the Tuesday morning prior for a weekend hire; Or 2-3 business days before your event date. If you need your hire urgently (within 2 days) we offer and recommend overnight express delivery which can cost between ($10-30 extra) - See our FAQ. Once we post your dress a tracking number will be provided via Australia Post Express. We are not responsible for Postage delays and no refunds are provided if your garment does not arrive on time. We also do not provide refunds for any reason, which includes change of minds or if you do not wear the garment (including sizing errors).
A pre-paid Australian Post express satchel is included in the parcel and will make it easier for you to return your garment. Please return the garment unwashed.
*Please note*
The garment MUST only be lodged at the Australia Post (not in a post box). This should be done on the next business day following your hire date by 12 pm. Failure to lodge the garment in time will incur a $20 late fee for each consecutive day the garment is not sent. Proof of lodgment must be provided, so please keep all forms of receipts. The bond will be returned and cleaned (please allow up to 5-7 business days as this is done through our online system).
In a case where we have not received your item, we will contact Australia Post for an investigation. In this case, they will most likely need to talk to the sender (you) so we will need you to cooperate with us. If Australia Post has no evidence through their system that the satchel was not posted, we will have to charge the RRP of the garment. We will inform you of this. Please be aware this can be done through your card saved on your file (from the booking system).
Uber Delivery:
To process an Uber delivery order in advance we will as usual need a refundable bond to secure your order. Before ordering the Uber we will need all payments (hire fee, bond, and Uber delivery quote). *Please note the Uber delivery fee quote may change and will only be accurate just before we order it for you depending on your location.
When returning your hire we still need it placed in our drop box (located opposite the front door) by your return day/time. Otherwise, if you are unable to, we recommend express posting it back to us by the following business day before 12 pm (same conditions in the ‘postal hires’ section). Alternatively, we can order an Uber to pick up the hire and return it to us - NP Collection cannot cover this cost.
Extended hire dates:
Usually, the hire period (from pick-up date to return date) should not be more than 4 days all up; this includes postal hires. If you know in advance you need a longer rental period, we offer a small fee (depending on the RRP of the garment and how long you need it for). This fee will allow your rental to be up to 8 days or can be slightly longer if needed. If you plan to hire a garment interstate, please inform us so we are aware of this. Discounts:
Hire a garment with a friend and both receive $10 off! (Both need to be present at a try on/pick up and must be for the same hire date)
Scan our loyalty card to receive 30% off your 4th hire and 50% off your 8th hire
